A member asked:

My grandma is 67 y/o and she did a heart catheterization few days ago and her doctor said she need a cabg too can she not do the cabg surgery?

Difficult language: I'm sorry - I just don't understand what you're asking. If your grandma had a heart cath and was told that she needs a CABG, she must have serious blockage present. If she has symptoms of chest discomfort, the case is even stronger. Be sure she gets a surgeon who does them every day, has been doing them for years, and is well respected by his colleagues.
