An MRI: When doing a test your doctor will consider if the test will help in managing your condition and the likelihood that the disease he is considering is present. If mental illness is contributing to symptoms doing a test may not resolve anxiety. The combination of neck pain and numbness may suggest cervical spinal cord issues but when combined with swallowing problem seems more like anxiety

Neck: Neck pain can make it hard to swallow depending on the cause but it would not cause any of the other symptoms
