A member asked:

Veins in left arm popping out and feel tight with numbness in both hands and arms especially my right thumb?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Neurologist: I feel that a neurologist is best qualified to evaluate your symptoms as they may be due to nerve impingements or a peripheral neuropathy. The veins in your arm should collapse as you raise the arm to shoulder height. If the veins remain distended at that height, an obstruction higher in the arm would be possibly present and for this a vascular surgeon may be consulted.
