Your condition could originate from the cervical spines although you do not have neck or upper back pain. Your doctor should initiate some work up for neuropathy in the meantime pending initial neuro visit. MRI of the cervicothoracic spines (mainly the lower C spines C5-7, and upper thoracic spines T1-T3) should be included in the preliminary work-up.
