See the doctor: Fever and stiff neck are features of potential meningitis, an infection in meninges of the brain. Are you in college? Do you have a headache or vomiting? These are additional signs of potential meningitis. A sore throat, pharyngitis, can also cause neck pain. I would recommend medical attention
