??: sorry but not really sure what PRC stands for /as far as inability to extend the first metacarpal lower bone of thumb ) with hyper extension of the "thumb joint" this is probably a combination of a lack of solid reattachment of the extensor pollicus brevis to the base of the metacarpal as well as some chronic or acute damage to the volar plate of the MCPJ ( thumb joint) this is not uncommon
