Unclear question: But if you meant how soon after the child has been taken off an allergenic food would the shiner subside, I would say that it will take about 30 6 months if that's the only allergy he has. Some shiners are hereditary and will not likely ever go away without cosmetic surgery.

Confusing question: Most "allergic shiners" are related to airborne allergens or other factors. They often persist through whatever pollen season your kid is susceptible to. How you would go about removing the air they breathe is a head scratcher.
