Be patient: Weight loss after a sleeve gastrectomy is not measured day by day or week by week, but over time. Eating 800 calories a day, drinking enough fluids, taking your vitamins and mineral supplements, and exercising will lead to sustained weight loss over time.

Everyone is differet: After bariatric surgery, everyone loses weight in a different way and at a different pace. If you are sticking to the diet and exercise plan outlined by your bariatric team, then the weight will come off. Be patient with yourself and your body. Keep up the good work with food and exercise choices and make sure to follow up as recommended by your surgeon.
