Light sensitivity: This is normal. Your pupils are fully dilated in the dark to allow maximum light to see. When you suddenly go into bright light, it over stimulates the nerve in the back of the eye and the muscles that constrict the pupil to decrease the light intensity causing head ache. I advise to protect your eyes during transitions from dark to light to minimize the abrupt adjustment your eyes are forced into
