It depends.: Your dad's HbA1C is within normal limits which suggests that, in general, his blood sugar is as well. Regarding the blood sugar of 7.39, if this is being reported as mmol/ml (SI units), that's a little high, but you need to confirm this with his doctor. His blood pressure medication, Concor, shouldn't have any effect on these tests.
