Tums & Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl): I see you have reflux and are on several acid-reducing medications, so I wouldn't expect that Tums would provide much additional benefit. Directions for the Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) should already be on the bottle. Something seems slightly odd here as the combination of Tums and Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) strikes me as unusual. Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) isn't a smooth muscle relaxant. I would advise you to discuss this with your regular doctor

Need more answers: Chest pain has many causes If it is from reflux with esophagitis, chewing 1 TUMS (calcium carbonate) may give transient relief, a drug like Prilosec 1 a day, may help. Muscle pain may be relieved with 1 flexed il 1 mg 2-3 per day. You need to find the cause of the pain for a long term solution. Ask your PCP. He/ she may need to do tests or refer you to a specialist to get the answers
