A member asked:

Er and gp checked ekg, holter monitor, blood pressure and bloods and all normal. but i get a lot of left shoulder pain(especially when laughing) ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

PLeurisy: Left shoulder pain when laughing Is suggestive of musculoskeletal origin or perhaps esophygeal. Although a small percentage of angina does present as musculoskeletal pain and cannot be ruled out your symptoms are more suggestive of an inflammatory origin. A CXR would be helpful and a trial of NSAIDS
