Don't worry, see OB.: Make an appointment with your ob. They may get an early sono to evaluate the size of the fibroids. Even patients with large fibroids may have a normal full-term pregnancy.
Dr. Kenan Omurtag

Not uncommon: Women with fibroids, depending on the size can have increased risks of preterm birth, growth restriction, abdominal-back pain during pregnancy.

Likely no problems: Most women who become pregnant with fibroid tumors will do well. However, some will have pain, increase in size, and possibily bleeding. Premature delivery risk is increased if the tumors are large. Rarely, they can interfere with normal delivery. Your doctor will follow you closely to detect any problems during your pregnancy.

Phlebology 35 years experience
Depends: Most women with fibroids have fairly normal pregnancies. Fibroid can increase the likelihood of complications of pregnancy, especially miscarriage. Fibroids can also infarct during pregnancy, which can be painful.

Everything as usual: Make sure you are doing more for your oral hygiene, and stay up on your dental work so that you do not have avoidable dental concerns along the way. A good cleaning is important to get you started. Congrats with the new baby.

Not Likely: Tubal ligations are not 100% effective. If the tubal ligation was done at delivery it may be a little less effective. Never say never in medicine. I have a patient who became pregnant many years after her tubal ligation. It is always a possibility although not as likely.Tubal ligations are generally 99% effective.

A male asked:

Can a virgin girl get pregnant with pre cum?

?Pre- cum ?: The sexual fluids produced by males often contain healthy swimmers (sperm) apart from the "main load" .Fingers or other body parts that have contact with this material will have the potential to pass a healthy sperm into the vaginal entrance & from there gain access to & fertilize an egg.To avoid pregnancy you must have your barrier in place to trap these fluids before they begin to leak.

A 31-year-old female asked:

Hi doc. I have three fibroids the locations are right posterior, right fundal and left anterior, can I become pregnant with that ?

Maybe: Fibroids has affect fertility in multiple ways - block the tube, prevent proper contraction of the uterus, and cause inflammation. Muscular fibroids on average decrease pregnancy rates by about 20% and submucosal fibroids have more effect. Fibroids > 5 cm also have a greater effect. So a fertility specialist can help MAP out the fibroids and get a better look to give you better guidance.
