Who knows?: Many possibilities. You have to be examined to be diagnosed in order to select the best treatment. Your question is similar to, "I have a sore toe...what is this." Inflammation is a sign, not a Diagnosis. See ENT or Oral Surgeon.

Idiopathic Palate: I would advise you to have the "inflammation" examined by your doctor or ENT to help you with a diagnosis and treatment, if needed.
