Fucidin H: Fusidic acid belongs to a class of medications known as antibiotics. I do not see any benefit for itching if you apply it. Try oral Benadryl (diphenhydramine).

Consider options: Fucidin is a combo of hydrocortisone and a topical antibiotic effective against gram + bacteria, but not e.coli - which are present in your bowel. Broken or irritated skin allows for increased absorbtion , which is not desired. You may be better off using witch hazel (ie Tucks pads), sitz baths or ice packs to decrease itching and discomfort. As your MD for advice, especially if pus present.
