Changes in position: often stimulate a fetus, causing him or her to kick more. This doesn't mean that he or she is being harmed or uncomfortable. In fact, it could mean the opposite, that he or she enjoys the position. Hope this helps!

Kicking is good: Baby's kicking is a reassuring. However, babies have sleep time and awake time. When they are asleep, there will be no movement. Baby is well protected by amniotic fluid and its unlikely that that you could cause harm by leaning forward. Its more likely that your movement wakes baby up or puts baby in a position where the kicking is more obvious to you. Best wishes for your new child!
