Depends on cause: Wrist pain can be from a simple sprain to a major problem like fractures ligament injuries and other more esoteric reasons; would need to know what one is treating.

Wrist pain: There are many possible causes and one would need to have more information i.E where exactly (front or back), trauma related, type of pain, associated symptoms, etc... A good history and exam will reveal a lot. Good luck.
