Two options: Endometrial thickness of 1.9cm is abnormal. I can see 2 viable options: 1. An endometrial biopsy in the office, then a course of Provera (medroxyprogesterone) for at least 15 days, followed by a repeat ultrasound after your following period. OR 2. A curettage under GA. Both options would accomplish the goals of getting tissue for a diagnosis, and removing the excess endometrium.
