MAY BE RELATED: It's possibly related. blockedeustachain can result in tinnitis, Tinnitis also can be related to earwax, Meniere's disease, glomus tumors, loud music and ototoxic drugs but cause is usually is unknown. Nonsurgical treatments for sinusitis include nasal saline washes and decongestants such as sudafed,. Do not use decongestant drops for more than 3 days in a row or you may get worsening.

Sinusitis/tinnitus: The nasal sinuses are connected to the inner ear canal via the eustachian tubes and nose. Any obstruction to the sinuses or the nose can affect the ears and cause tinnitus. Non surgical treatments include steroid nasal sprays, antibiotics, nasal antihistamines saline nose sprays, nasal lavage using a netty pot. See a good ENT who specializes in tinnitus for consultation.
