What does it mean if you suffer from severe headaches due to nerve damage from sinus surgery?

Difficult problem: What you described is very rare. Some people do have sensitive nerve ending in their sinuses and in my experience, they often are the people who get a lot of sinus pain pre-operatively. There are cases of more pain after sinus surgery, presumably due to small nerve endings reforming incorrectly in the tissue. There are medications usually given by neurologist that help tremendously.

Not sure what you mean: I'm not sure what you mean by "nerve damage "after sinus surgery. Although there are some nerves within the sinuses the majority of the sinuses do not have significant nerve involvement and as such should not cause significant postoperative headaches. More commonly headaches occur because of scarring leading to obstruction of sinuses and the development of pressure within them.
