May be expected: Normal isn't the word I'd use, but this is often reported. Work very closely w/ the prescribing doctor to monitor this and you must weigh the risks against the benefits. The possibility of cardiovascular symptoms is the really serious concern and psychiatric symptoms are a worry too. If weight loss is medically crucial, this might be necessary - otherwise, be careful and consider alternatives.
