Benign Ultrasound.: An endometrial thickness between 4 and 12 mm is normal (depending on when in the cycle it is done and for what purpose) Slightly heterogenous implies it has variable texture or density but not much else. The cervix is supposed to have a distinct canal and homogenous stroma (opposite to the heterogenous). In other words, the ultrasound shows a normal uterus.
