Heterogeneous myometrium may represent fibroids or possibly adenomyosis, neither of which are a concern postmenopausal. The 8 mm endometrium is not normal and should be further evaluated or at least closely monitored. It would be particularly worrisome if you have had some bleeding, even small amounts.
