Earfold procedure: This is a new procedure utilizing an implant in the Aricle of the ear to correct for a missing antihelical fold to improve the ear appearance and contour. There is not enough data to show if it is truly comparable to the traditional surgical procedure; however, it is performed in office, under local anesthesia. Proper patient selection is the most important factor for determining success rate.
