Severe cough: It sounds like the trip to the ER. Is the best choice at this time. I hope it is treatable and he is better soon.

Hello! After a bout of aggressive vomiting, I now have sharp pain in the right side of my chest and back when I cough, and the right side of the neck when I turn my head to the right. What could have caused this, and what do you recommend? Thank you?
Sharp chest pain right side. Cough, sore throat, & stuffy nose last 10 days. Negative strep & chest xray. What's causing chest pain? Lungs? Ribs?
