Neuropathic pain: Not clear from your question, but you may be having problems with trigeminal neuralgia (tic douloureux). The trigeminal nerve supplies the forehead, cheek and jaw but not the neck. It can be worsened with exposure to wind. It is treatable. See details: Have you ever been diagnosed with any spine problems? Do play sport? If so, which one? Repeated trauma to your head and neck causes micro damages to your vertebrae that builds up over the course of time. Muscle spasm can cause pain too. If it persists or worsens, imaging studies might be necessary.
