My left knee has been numb for 3 to 4 weeks now. i did fall pretty hard on it so that may have something to do with it. how long will it be like this?

Nerve damage: It appears that nerve tissue was contused at the time of your knee injury and,although the nerves will regenerate somewhat,it will take weeks to months to do so. See an orthopedic surgeon if you have persistent pain,swelling or tenderness of your knee or limitation of flexion or extension.
