Three months ago i had a left hip resurfacing. i'm expierenceing numbness on the back of that knee . it goes from the back of the knee up my thigh ?

Thigh numbness: Details matter. When did it start in relation to the surgery...Immediately or later. If later, it may be related to jeans or a belt or a tool belt that are too tight, compressing the lateral cutaneous nerve of the thigh. See: http://en.Wikipedia.Org/wiki/lateral_cutaneous_nerve_of_thigh for details. I suggest you consult a neurologist, who tell better which nerve(s) might be involved.
