Is it normal at 5.5 weeks for hcg to be at 30000 and only go up to 32000 over two days?

Sonogram: The best thing to do is to have a sonogram done. A fetus should be visible at a BHCG of around 2000. It sounds like you may be a little farther along than you think

No: Although it is not normal for the beta HCG to rise only 2000 in two days, there are circumstances where this can happen and you can still have a viable pregnancy. You may follow the beta HCG level in 2-3 days or better yet, get a transvaginal ultrasound. At 32,000, you should see a baby with a heart beat. Good luck.
