A member asked:

Is it ok to use expired rubbing alcohol that expired in march of last year (2013)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rubbing acetone: Rubbing alcohol turns into acetone over time, usually becoming ineffective after about two years from manufacture. Since rubbing alcohol is still one of the least expensive products to buy, replacing it rather than risking it would be a wise decision.
