See your doctor: It sounds like you need an oral antibiotic and possibly drainage of this abcess. You need to see your family doctor to have this evaluated and treated. In the meantime, use warm compresses on the abcess 4 x daily x 30 minutes until seen by your doctor. If the abcess gets larger or redness spreads, you should go to your emergency room for treatment.
