Usually ok: Low 25 vitamin d can be associated with low dietary calcium uptake/bone health issues... And there are other potential health benefits of vitamin d on immune function. However most adult with d deficiency do not have overt symptoms. If tested because of bone health concerns, take the vitamin d doses prescribed by your doctor. Otherwise, probably ok to just take an OTC supplement to treat.
