Pitting edema: Pitting edema, yes, is seen with CHF, COPD, pulmonary hypertension, right heart failure, liver impairment, kidney disease, particularly protein-losing kidney diseases with nephrosis, and with venous insufficiency of legs. See your PCP to be assured all of the above have indeed been ruled out; venous exam with doppler ultrasound is needed next - work with your PCP - referrals will be done as needed
