Gingivitis: The bleeding gums can be a sign that you are at risk for, or already have, gum disease. The bacteria, along with mucus and other particles, forms a sticky, colorless toxic “plaque” causing the gums to become inflamed and to easily bleed. This is a serious problem, which should be checked by a dentist. The good news is that this condition is curable. Call your dentist today!

Bleeding: Could be caused by the reason that you need the steroids, the medication itself, or most probably by gum disease. Call your Dentist immediately. Referral to a Periodontist, a gum specialist, would be prudent.
