My boyfriend has a deep toung laceration and he don't think he needs to go in and he thinks there is nothing they will do what can i tell him?

It depends: If the injury has just recently occurred and is very deep, he should get stitches. The main reason to stitch a tongue wound is to prevent food trapping, which can cause infection.
