What is better for relaxation reading or listening to music?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A Book! Not An i-Pad: Depends on you. Some like to do both. In fact, I saw a guy at the gym last night on an indoor bike with the TV and radio both blasting while he also read from a book. Go figure. So try them for yourself. I read Moby Dick every night for many months and fell asleep each night after two pages. Choose music that doesn't engage you too much, like ambient or mild classical. Shy away from The Who or U2
