Environmental factor: Good concentration requires a quiet environment, few distractions and practice. Try doing your reading or listening in the same location daily. Make sure TV's, music and other distractions are off. Make sure you are getting enough sleep as fatigue can also cause lack of concentration, as can headaches. You can also try to limit your intake of news and social media as worries can distract as well.
