Get checked out now: It could be just a stomach flu and some dehydration, but headache and nausea late in pregnancy can also be a sign of a more serious complication called "pre-eclampsia" or "toxemia, " or even possibly preterm labor. Call your OB or go to your hospital labor and delivery ward right away to get this checked out today.

Pre--eclampsia: Just to be sure, tell your family doc or OB about your complaints & worries. Headaches late in pregnancy are worrisome for pre-eclampsia, which can only be treated by delivery, prior to converting into eclampsia (seizures). Cramps should always be evaluated by your doc for pre-term labor.
