It's better now: Compared to 20 years ago, we have excellent treatment for CHF. It's hard to take all these pills, but be patient and meticulous about your meds. Weigh daily & report any gain of 3-5 # to your doctor. With your doctor's permission, try to exercise. Truthfully, you will know more at 3 months, but any improvement is encouraging! I have many patients who continue to live fulfilling lives with HF.
