No: Something is seriously wrong here. Perhaps a misunderstanding. As a pathologist, let me reassure you that the lab is an adjunct to the history and physical exam. You don't screen with labs for CHF. You ask about exercise tolerance. And 300 is the cutoff below which CHF is ruled out in sick people. Most CHF patients have it way-way-high.
