Football: Your question is not one that can be answered on a health blog. Your son should be evaluated by a health team consisting of an orthopedist, neurologist , and possibly a neurosurgeon. Good luck!

What has occurred: to cause you concern after 7 years? Has your son had an evaluation by a geneticist, including a Chromosomal Microarray? Does he have lax ligaments or other signs of a connective tissue disorder? Have his pediatrician & orthopedist done yearly " sports physicals", obtaining appropriate medical & family history of risk factors for problems with rate/rhythm of his heartbeat? If not, now's the time.
