A member asked:

Is it normal for a broken ankle to feel like it's not broken after three weeks? no pain. could the doctor have read the xrays wrong?

Good healing: If you had a nondisplaced fracture, you may have healed enough for it to feel back to normal at 3 weeks. The bone is still not at full strength and should be protected by splint or cast so that it can fully recover. I'm glad you are healing quickly.

Normal: Many simple fractures can heal at 3-4 weeks. Just follow the directions from your doctor
