Few possibilities: 1- significant Weight change 10% weight gain or loss will require adjustment of Thyroxine dose. 2- Changing brand back & forth can cause fluctuation of thyroid level. Brand names like Synthroid & Levoxyl (thyroxine) tend to be more consistent and reliable. ( May need to ask your Doctor to write no substitution on the script. 3- Absorption of Thyroid Hormone and vary wildly if the medicine is not taken correct
