Can someone tell me if atenenlol is just as good for pressure as losartan.

It depends.: Losartan is mainly used to lower the blood pressure. Atenolol used for both heart problems and also to lower the blood pressure. So this medications are chosen accoring to the patient's cardiovascular problems and other medical problems associated with cardivascular disease.
