Knee pain: Sophie- Pop in a knee could be due to as simple as nothing to something big such as a broken tendon or a meniscus problem. Swelling of the knee usually doesn’t appear right away and takes some time or if it ever appears. If your range of motion of the knee is restricted due to pain, I would recommend you to be seen and examined by a doctor in person.

Ligament or meniscus: tear could be the problem. An MRI of the knee may be needed. See your doctor.
