Weight has a: great effect on joints and even a ten pound difference can make a huge difference in the forces on a joint. Joints have the ability to repair or heal if the problem has not gone too far. but even a joint that has reached a point of no full return to a perjury status can benefit from reduced force ( weight) all day and everyday.

No: But losing weight will result in less pressure on the joints hence symptoms may resolve or improve
