Gincosan is a : combination of Ginkgo Biloba and Ginseng. It is metabolized in the liver & can interact with other medications metabolized by the same pathway. It can cause GI upset. A few studies on its use for ADHD-Primarily Inattentive Type did not prove a clear beneficial effect & showed it is less effective than methylphenidate. If stimulant medications are available, they would be preferable.
