Sounds like classic: panic attack sx's, but check it out with a general physical first. There are 33 sx's of panic/anxiety and you've mentioned some of the big ones. Dreams can set off panic attacks, only in this case your defenses against the attack is impaired (sleepy). Learn all you can about anxiety.
