Bug Bite: The symptoms you are describing sound like infection. If there is a break in the skin, it becomes easier for bacteria to become involved. Sometimes an abscess will form. Some types of bites cause destruction of tissue. See your doctor to see if you need antibiotics or other treatment. Abscesses require drainage.
