You can: But don't expect to see any change overnight, as the damage from the UV rays, a third degree sunburn, takes several days to reverse. Repeated such exposure and sun damage should be avoided with regular use of sunscreen (with SPF greater than 30) lotions/cream and clothing and objects to block sunrays. .
